The characteristics and usage
1.Main usage of food-grade glycine
(1)used as a flacoring or sweetener,in combination with DL-alanine or Citric acid, it can be used in Alcoholic becerage,used as an acid corrector or buffer for the composition of wine and soft beverage, used as an additice for the flavor and taste of food,to retain its original color and to provide a soutce of sweet.
(2)Used as an antiseptic agent for fish flakes and peanut jams;
(3)Can play a buffering rolein the taste of edible salt and vinegar;
(4)Used in food processing, brewing process,meat processing and soft beverage formulas as well as in Saccharin sodium in order to remove bitterness;
(5)Can play a certain role in metal chelation and antioxidation ,used as a stabilize for cream, cheese, margarine,fast cooked noodles of convenient noodles ,wheat flout and pig lard .
(6)Used as a stabilizer for Vitamin C;
(7)10%raw material of monosodium glutamate is glycine.
(8)Used as an antiseptic agent.
2. Main usage of pharma –arade glycine
(1)Used in the research on the metabolism of amino acids by medical organisms or on a biochemical asis;
(2)Used as a buffer for aurcomycin,as a raw material for making L-dopa for treating Parkingson disease,Vitamin B6and other amino acids as Threonine;
(3)Mainly used in Amino Acid injection solution as nutritional infususion;
(4)Used as the raw material for cephslosporins, he intermediate for Thiamphenicol and etc.
(5)Used as the raw material for cosmeric.
3. Main usage of tech-grade glycine
(1)Used as an additive to the galvanizing solution
(2)Used as a PHregulator
(3)Used as an intermediate of pesticides,e.g.a key raw material for herbicide Glyphosate.
4.Main usage of fodder—grade glycine
It is mainly used as a feed additive and inductor to increase the amino acid for the poultry and the domestic animals especially for pets. Glycine can be used as an additive for protein hydrolysating in order to improve protein progression agent
5.Main usage of glycine special for fertilizer
Used in fertilizer production as decontaminant.
